Company Profile

John Fogarty founded the company in 1964. It originally traded as a Plumbing Enterprise until branching out into home and commercial heating in the 70’s and 80’s, (including grain dryers and commercial glasshouses etc) and into Timber Drying Kilns in the 1990’s.

To date the company has installed or refurbished over 60 Timber Drying Kilns. Our success is driven by the desire to be the best in the field and to this aim we have spent a great deal of resource in the research and development of innovative and original designs. Our latest success is the design of the Contoured Timber Kiln. The new kiln design produces uniformed airflows within the kiln and increases the airflow for each kilowatt of fan power used (see Contoured Timber Kilns).

In 2000 we were fortunate to be awarded the Brookhuis Micro-Electronics agency for their range of Moisture Meters and In-Kiln moisture monitoring systems. Brookhuis is an innovative company based in the Netherlands and were looking to expand their products into the New Zealand market. We are very please to be able to partner with such a highly regarded company, and the quality and standard of their products is second to none (see Brookhuis Moisture Meters).

We also led the way in In-Kiln Computer Control Systems. This is based around the Lumber Dry product and was developed in conjunction with Stuart Control Systems (see Lumber Dry).
